The Four Seasons




In science, we have been studying the four seasons. We have been talking about the characteristics of each different season, the cycle of the four seasons and comparing the seasons. Here are some resources you can check out to help your child understand more about the seasons.

Counting and Number Patterns to 120



         We are currently working on place value concepts and patterns in counting. Here are some great resources for you to look at with your child to help them with the concepts we are practicing in class. Some of the concepts we are working on include –

  • Place value: understanding that the teen numbers are made up of 1 group of ten, plus some ones.
  • Number Patterns: seeing patterns on a hundreds chart
  • Skip counting: counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s
